Jessica & Jake are in The Old Schoolhouse Magazine!

If you get this magazine, The Old Schoolhouse, 2 of my children are on page 12 of Summer 2007 issue.

On page 12, look at the ad for "In the Hands of a Child", and the top picture is Jessica holding Extreme Weather Lapbook and Jake is in the one on the left holding In Like a Lion, Out Like a Lamb lapbook.

How neat is that!

Another neat tidbit is that all our children are pictured in In the Hands of a Child Template Pack that they recently was released. This is a wonderful "MUST HAVE" blank template kit for lapbooking.

Here is where the kids are pictured within the Template Pack pdf:

Timmy on page 4 (this is also the included in the sample listed at their website) & page 121

Jake page 4 (top right)

Jessica page 94 (top left)

Holly page 116

I just found my TOS magazine to see your kids! That is so neat! Which lapbooks are they each holding?

And what does Jetihoja mean? Is it Hebrew?

What good questions!

Jessica is holding the Extreme Weather lapbook.

Jake is holding the In Like a Lion, Out Like a Lamb lapbook.

Our name is a combination of all the kids still at home (ds-18, is out of the house already :o( ). We took the 1st two letters of the 4 kids and created our school name. To read a little more about it check out this thread: Jetihoja Academy under Home Education.

~Tina who is going to update this thread by answering your questions. :o)

Very creative name! And when I saw it typed out, it did have a bit of a Japanese flavor to it. However, I still think it *could* have been from the Old Testament! Something along the lines of "Jetihoja walked in the ways of his father and did not stray from them; he did what was right in the eyes of the Lord..."

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

LOL, I agree! *Ü*

And thanks for stopping by mine too. It is so much fun seeing what other WTM-ers do with school and their family life.

Blessings,

Tina
