Sketch Tuesday: Fruit Bowl

Here is Jessica's Sketch Tuesday drawing. She use water color crayons once again. She really enjoys using these.

I decided to do this one too, using colored pencils. Jessica and I both sat down on the couch, placed the bowl of fruit (which she arragned) on a TV tray, and spent some time drawing together. I would look at her sketch for techniques, she would look at mine, etc. It was a wonderful time.

If you would like to join Sketch Tuesday, or see more fruit sketches, please visit HERE for more information. Anyone can join. Next week's assignment is: Draw your dinner plate....with or without food on it. Oh... I bet I know know which one Jessica will choose. *Ü*

I love your drawings! Beautiful and I bet you had a great time together. I let my children choose a fruit at the market and they enjoyed their "hunt". LOL.

Wow! Great job! Such "picture perfect" fruit! :-) And I love that you said it was so fun to do together. I agree. Whenever we do art alongside each other, it's a special time.

Thanks everyone! I think I will join her with this from time to time. She really enjoyed doing it together as well.

Hi Tina,
My son was so impressed with your banana! LOL! We say your drawing on Barb's slideshow. He drew a banana on his plate.
I found your site from your comment on my photoblog. I don't think i will ever get to making a wonderful blog like yours and so many other mom's but I sure do enjoy them!
And I was so exicted to see your post about Dan Parker and that you included the question and answers!!! I can't wait to tell my boys!
Thanks!
