It is a crawdad (crayfish) that he found in the creek in our back yard. We put it in a bucket and when dad came home, they took it back to the creek and let him go free. :o)
Oh what a cutie! My kids used to beg to take the little crabs home when we go to the beach. One time while doing laundry, I noticed one of my boys slipped a crab in his pocket - too bad, the crab didn't make it as my son forgot about him in his pocket - lol.
Did you find it in your bed later that day? We had a creek near our house growing up and I LOVED bringing home things for my mom. HEE HEE! Happy WW, Brittney

Nope, not it. :o) I would have been yelling too if it was. Thank goodness we don't have those in W. WA. :o)
